Request an editor account for your website

Modified on Tue, 29 Sep at 9:46 AM

Authorised members of your practice team can have their own editor account to log in to your website and make routine content updates.

Having individual editor accounts means that appropriate members of your team can update the website when required, without having to wait for another member of staff or for GenPra to make routine changes.

Request an additional editor account

For security, practices cannot create new editor accounts themselves. GenPra will create the account for you.

Please submit a support request and provide:

  • the name of the person who requires access;

  • their individual work email address; and

  • confirmation that they are authorised by the practice to edit the website.

We will then create their editor account and provide the information they need to log in.

Each editor should have their own account

Please request a separate account for each member of staff who needs access rather than sharing login details between members of the practice team.

If someone with an editor account leaves the practice or no longer requires access, please let us know so that we can remove their access.

What can an editor do?

Editor accounts are intended for managing routine website content. This includes tasks such as updating page content, publishing news and making other day-to-day content changes.

Technical, structural and security-sensitive website administration remains managed by GenPra.
